She hails from a family of musician of Rajasthan . From the tender age of 4 years, she started learning Kathak dance from her own father and Guru Lt. Pandit Madan Kumar, a renowned Kathak Guru and a table player.

Very beautifully, she played the child role of the legendary Kathak dancer Smt. Sitara Devi in her documentary- The Kathak Queen.

Right from the age of 7 years, she started giving numerous Professional performances and received many awards for the same in India , America, Canada, South Africa, Israel etc.

Besides her own dance performances she has been teaching dance to thousands of students since last 30 years and has also taught Kathak Semi-classical and Folk dance to some famous celebrities and has also played lead role in many films and serials herself.

She is a person who has an ability to perceive dance more than just an art form work and she works with her clients to bring about an improvement in their total body image or restoration and build-up of self-esteem.
